Summary: This level is designed and built up for my friend Wenzhao Li's graduate thesis project The Primitive Pride. It is a narrasio driven sci--fi experinmental adventure game. Player's reaction in game(detected by controller input) and outside game(detected by eye-tracking system) will be valued and different animation clips will be presented to player based on their reaction and choice.

The shuttle
Scene brief: Wenzhao told me this scene is a "symetrical and compact "space shuttle interior with no more than three seats in the main control room. Control panel, medikit and oxygen supply should be within reach. The overall style should be futuristic but still reliable.Two characters will be in this scene and it is going to be a pretty heartbreaking moment for bothe characters. I designed the front part following his description using blueish tone and a relatively dim lighting scheme. And I also designed a smaller rear part. There are two doors lead to the back part of this shuttle and a cellar door leading to lower storage room. In the back, there are another control area. 
The  console room
Scene brief: Wenzhao told me this scene is a "symetrical and inhuman " space. There is no gravity in this space. The shape of the room can not be a simple box and he suggests 6-sided prism shape. I finally designed a space that is composed of two half 6-sided prism shape. Handles and round shape is used to suggest that this is a no gravity environment.
I also designed a expedition flag and redesigned American flag based on Wenzhao's requirement.
